The listing, Lavender Seeds (30+) has ended.
Bid for 30+ lavender seeds! Lavender is actually a member of the mint family and is often grown because it is quite fragrant! Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds love the flowers! It is not used much in cooking, but the aroma will add a great smell to your garden, not to mention attracting pollinating animals. The picture of the seedling is one I've grown myself (for a friend) from the same seed batch I'm auctioning. The seed packet is the exact seed packet that the winner will receive!
The lavender is an extremely hardy plant! The stalk in the picture flopped over in a storm, but instead of it hurting the plant, it put up a new stalk and the other rooted, essentially forming two plants! This behavior is very typical of the mint family and is their primary form of propagation!
Days to germination: ~14-28
Plant Height: ~2-3 ft.
Plant Width: ~1 ft.
*I will ship a care sheet along with the seeds if you would like! This is the same care sheet I use to grow my own plants! Just let me know when you send me your address!
