**Tresvant sang lead on many of the "New Edition" lead singles including "Candy Girl", "Cool It Now" and "If It Isn't Love".
Tresvant left New Edition in 1989, shortly before the rest of the group disbanded by the time it was a quartet. Despite the success of groupmates Bobby Brown, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Johnny Gill.
In 1996, he reunited with the other members of New Edition for the release of Home Again which became a success. The album was released on September 10, 1996 and debuted at #1 on both the Billboard Pop and R&B Charts.
