no, not too heavy. something like an id bracelet would be. and looking with magnifying, couldn't see any stamps. i'm sure though without a jeweler seeing it that it would probably be sterling. but, i may take it to a jeweler this week, just to find out more about it. thanks for asking, bid bid bid!!!!

It's a silverstone color. not sure if it's silver, sterling or whatever. it has no markings on it at all. it's a little heavy, you can tell you wearing a bracelet. if that helps any.
