Description

The listing, Plastic Canvas Lot - 13 SHEETS! has ended.

This is a nice lot of 8 sheets of 7 mesh and 5 sheets of 10 mesh ( I think... It is smaller holes than the 7) I don't have much experience with this medium but I have brand new sheets that have been setting around for awhile and I would like to pass them on to someone who can use them. They are 10 1/2 by 13 1/2 inch sheets.

The shipping for these will cost me more than usual so I am going to ask for $5 to help get them all there in one piece. I accept paypal or FIVE - ONE Dollar stamps from the post office and will ship after I receive payment.

IF this does not get any bids I am willing to break them down into 5x7 sheets and send them one or 2 at a time for free. I can relist them like that if the shipping is to much for buyers.

Your feedback on this is appreciated. Thanks.

That's a lot of nice material, and I really do get the shipping problem. You can probably send them in the flat-rate envelope instead of paying by weight, which might be cheaper depending on the zip code of the recipient.

I think for this size , I don't know if it would be cheaper. Maybe I should put the 7 mesh separate from the 10. Most projects are for the 7 I think. hmmm. maybe I will get some more comments before I have a bidder.

It will be interesting to see if you get any action on this ... might be a problem that most people probably don't need that much of it. You might want to try to find some examples of projects they are used for, maybe include a few photos. With kids home for summer, lots of moms might appreciate a big lot of craft material, but I think you need to lead them by the nose to explain the great things they could do with these.

If you want to do that (I'm sure you can find photos online, or maybe even include links online to craft projects), you might want to take this down and relist it once you have the extra photos or links ... because once you get a bid you can't change it.

Well I just auctioned off several lots of books. I meant to run them with these but was too slow at getting it listed. So, I guess I can add a link and maybe a photo. It's not a bad idea. I will see what happens. Thanks for the input.

The problem is that if you wait and get a bid, you're stuck. If you end the listing and relist it with more info (or get the info on before you get a bid) you'll probably get a lot more activity.

Also, try e-mail the folks who bid on the books you sold that used this type of material, and any other Listia bidders vying for yarn or floss or whatever you use with these. That's how I get a LOT of bids ... searching for similar things and letting people know I've got one that they might be interested in.

Stacey, you blew it. My red and clear star beads just ended, both at under 100 credits! Today I won a $15 Itunes card for under 1,000 credits. I think the summer slowdown has started. *sigh*

Well, as long as they will help pay for the shipping. You might be able to get them all into one flat-rate envelope, not sure if they will be too thick or not, but try picking one up at the post office to see. If the post office doesn't have them, you have to order them from usps.com online. They are free, and sometimes you get them quick but sometimes it takes a while. They deliver the boxes (and any other free Priority materials) right to your door.

I will check on that.

Hi, StaceyLynn -- I'm the one who got your pattern books and this is just what I need to give this hobby a try. Thanks for listing them (and I understand comletely about the postage. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll fit into the flate rate priority mailing envelope -- those are only 12-1/2" wide. Parcel post might be an option, although for smaller weights, that's about the same as priority.

Yeah, we'll have to figure out how we're mailing it...but we're problem solvers. It's all good. :)

This is going great! Y'know, you can get flat-rate flat document shipping boxes and if you can stuff them all into one of those, they will ship for the flat rate $4.85 if you buy the postage online, which includes FREE delivery confirmation. Your local post office should have them handy, and they are free. Otherwise you'll have to ship them by weight, and if over 2 pounds could get costly depending on the zip code.
