The listing, Steam Punk Star Generator/Lock Box has ended.

FREE SHIPPING! This is a jewelry box that displays a light show in the dark via a cobalt blue LED. It throws off blue orbs on the ceiling, and it includes faux electronics and vintage watch parts, along with two quartz crystals. The electronics are to look important; they don't actually do anything, except the LED, batteries (2 AA) included. The bottom opens for about ten square inches of storage. I made the hasp and padlock mostly from tin with compression springs inside the padlock, so it closes automatically when pushed together. It opens with a bottle cap key I made, and I know my photography is terrible. But these pics are about as good as it gets. Hopefully you can see the key and lock, and the opening on the bottom. It is covered with real cherry, and the top is a piece of plate glass. All very sturdy, and don't be afraid to bid. If the winner isn't satisfied, we will work out a refund. Yes, I made this. My stuff is always original -- it's what I do -- who I am. I don't think outside the box; there is no box. I think this is what makes Listia. We give away things others might think of as precious. We buy things others discard. It just so happens that people at Listia have an interest in my oddities. I've never sold anything locally or at any other website. We are Listia! ty fanned

Sorry goodgirl, no there's nothing wrong with it, but it's not perfect. There is glue here and there, and some edges aren't perfectly lined up. All in all the LED works, but I have no idea what it's worth. The padlock works, but it might not work forever. It's an auction, a free auction at that because I don't know what to ask for it. All I can say is that if you win, and you aren't happy with it, send it back. I will refund you.
