Description

The listing, Cucumber Melon Vegan Soap With Mango Butter has ended.

This offer is for One Cucumber Melon Scented, Vegan Approved, 3.5oz Bar of Mango Butter Soap.

This soap is processed so that the additives are not diminished through high heat or the process of turning oils into soap. This allows you to have the full benefits of the Mango Butter in each bar.

Formulated from a non-alcohol base containing 40% humectant moisturizers and they are hypo-allergenic. They provide a rich lather even in the hardest water.

Glycerin soaps do not create soap film in your shower or tub. They are enriched with ph balancers and skin conditioning emollients which make them very gentle to your skin.

Ingredients in our soaps:
Water, Propylene Glycol (Comes from glycerol, a natural moisturizing material), Cosmetic Grade Emu Oil, Sodium Stearate (Natural fatty component to soap, vegetable base)
Glycerin (Humectant, naturally produced during soapmaking process. Glycerin is the moisturizing ingredient that is removed from commerical soaps to be used in high-end cosmetics.)
Sodium Laureth Sulfate (Derived from Coconut Oil, natural cleansing agent)
Sorbitol (Found in ripe berries from mountain ash trees, adds creaminess)
Sodium Myristate (Foaming agent from vegetable fatty acids, natural organic acid)
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (Coconut oil base, Mild surfactant)
Triethanolamine (Emulsifier, made from vegetable fat)
Vitamin E, Titanium Dioxide for white color
No Artificial Preservatives. They contain no chemical detergents, no fillers such as mineral oil, paraffin or beeswax which can clog pores.

What does soap have to do with a person's diet? (From my understanding, a vegan is someone who doesnt eat meat for some reason or another)

Vegan approved means that no animal parts were used to produce the item. In the case of this soap, it means that no animal fats or oils was used, including any honey nor lanolin. We do have soaps that we make with emu oil and goat milk, so they cannot be considered vegan approved. Hope this helps answer your question. Vegans do not eat or use any part of the animal and are more strict than vegaterians.

What exactly is "Mango Butter"? Is oil derived from mangos?

Mango Butter is the butter from the inside of the seed. It is very moisturizing and especially good for dry or mature skin types.

Is it melt and pour with added oils or?
May 25th, 2012 at 8:50:45 AM PDT by
Original
Yes, it is high grade melt & pour and we add the oils and/or enriching butters and oils to each bar. We formulate the soap one bar at a time to customize it for the customer. List of base ingredients is in the listing.

ALL soaps dissolve the oils on your skin and then you rinse it off. It is not a "stay on" product so the ingredients aren't in contact with your skin long enough to do any damage. Check out what SNOPES has to say about any dangers from SLS. Because ALL soaps are drying by themselves, we always enrich our soaps with moisturizing oils and/or butters which will stay on the skin after the rinse.
