SILVER SURFER #2 October 1968 ~

I picked up this special comic book in not-so-special condition thinking I'd use it for decopage material for my son's birthday box, but it is still very readable and really should be enjoyed by someone. In mint condition, this edition is worth nearly $200, but this one has wear and aging. I'd really hate to tear it up when there alot of life and joy left in it!

No scents but the binding has come off, some corners are curled, it has a variety of small spots, there is water-damage to the cover, I see a bit of old mold on the first page . . . but outside of that: all pages intact, none are missing, and it's a great read!

Obviously this isn't in collectable condition, but I just can't dispose of it. Grab it for your kid, use it for scrap-booking (you'd have more guts than me!), upcycle it into envelopes or cards, or just enjoy it!

Comes to you from a non-smoking pet-free home . . . with free shipping to the US!

NOTE: Please do not bid if you don't intend on providing a Listia-verified address. I just received negative feedback from a young lady who was mad at me for not sending her winnings to another address . . . even after I refunded her credits. So, she tarnished my feedback record and now I want to make it clear I don't want it happening again. I follow the rules, fair and square. ;)

when you say the binding is missing, are pages seperated from one another? even though its only the second issue, if it was torn apart it be worth absolutly diddly

As you can see in the photo, the cover has come apart from the staples, but all pages are still very much intact. Staples are closed and tight. No pages missing, none separated from the staples.

I don't think it's worth absolutely diddly, someone will enjoy it no matter what. It may not be a collector but that's not why I'm offering it.

And, I see you bid. ;) Good luck!
