Reader does power up and work though the screen is broken. There is no power cord. You will receive the kindle only.

I do have the box with the important numbers on it. I can ship it in that box which the weight is 1 lb. Or I can ship it in a small flat rate box.

You can calculate the shipping if you want the original box, my zip is 84044 or the flat rate box is $5.45

Hi, could you please log in to your amazon account and deactivate the kindle. I think you sign into amazon, mouseover kindle and click "manage my Kindle,", then on the side click "manage my devices" and look for the kindle and click "deregister" by the kindle name.
That way the winner can register it on their account and contact support about it

Sorry but it is not register to me. I don't know if it is even register. I was given the instructions from a person on ebay on how to do that though you needed to see something on the screen to be able to do it. I could not see what I needed to see on the screen because of the crack. I bought this at a yard sale with the intentions of fixing it and just don't have the time.
