This flower is an annual. Very unusual and hard to find.

Crimson black, 2" double fringed blooms make these blooms a supurb cutting flower. They are excellent for dried flower arrangements, as they retain their color when dried.

Butterflies love this "perky posy".

Aren't they unusual? I've only seen them in blue, pink and purple. I like Bachelor Buttons.

Bachelor buttons are easy. No special attention needed. They remind me od my childhood. My mom had some in the yard. I liked them then and still do. These black ones are so rare, I wonder if I'll ever see them again other than seeds from my own. I am also glad I found Listia.
