If you get the taller ones I am interested also. This year mine got 3 feet tall! The smaller ones i plant throughout my veggies, so any color works. Thank you for fast reply.
Did you get any seeds from your own flowers this year? If so you do know that they go back to the Mother plant? If you got seeds say from your tall ones.... when you plant them next year they will be a different size unless the mother plant was originally a tall one! You never know!! When I got my seeds they were giant but when I pulled seeds and planted the next yr they were tiny... that’s what I mean about going back to the mother plant! Weird huh!!
I had a few deer that jumped into my garden because i forgot to lock the gate, they ate all the flowers off. (yes, deer do eat Marigolds!) so no seeds. but i have a few seeds left over from Listia for the tall marigolds. (the deer ate some beautiful tomatoes too, and greenbeans.)
Dang.... I didn’t know deer like marigolds? We put an electric wire fence around our garden so it keeps the deer out! They smell it first and get a little zap before they jump it!
I thought the crazy neighbor picked them all, but then i saw they trampled the beans and bit out of all the tomatoes and saw the tracks. They bit off each marigold, they were fist-sized. I learned my lesson about the gate, lol!
