1963 Topps #133 GENE FREESE (Cincinnati Reds)
1963 Topps #332 JOE HORLEN (White Sox)
Nice cards.
-Joe Horlen gets lost in the ocean of great pitchers in the 1960s, but he was one of MLB's statistical giants 1964-1968. In '64 he posted a 1.88 ERA,and in 1967 led the AL with a 2.07 ERA. Over the 5 year span, he boasted a 2.32 ERA, making him the rough equivalent of Juan Marichal in the same period. Horlen came down to earth in '69, and was retired by 1972.
-A 12 year veteran, Gene enjoyed his best season with the Reds in 1961 when he blasted 26 homers and drove in 87.

-If you don't feel like the item is "worth it", don't buy it (this simple trick is a lot easier than many users realize).
-I am terrible at following comments. Sorry about that.
