Description

The listing, Double sided Dumbo head has ended.

I believe this may have been the lid to a cookie jar once. It is hollow inside, and shows two different versions of Dumbo, the elephant from the titular Disney film. It looks as if it dates from near the film's initial release, but I have no way of knowing. There is a chip on the base and wear to the paint in several places, but it's an interesting item nonetheless.

Thank you! I hope it goes to someone who appreciates it. I like it a lot, but my 2-year-old keeps trying to play with it, and he's not exactly careful. I'd rather someone else had it than it be destroyed being thrown or something.

I wish I had the bottom! I got this at a yard sale as is, with some china elephant figurines; I collect elephants. I could use $50, but I'd rather have this on Listia than deal with eBay. Thanks for the information!

I have one of the minni micky mouse heads too. Been looking for the bottom for years... Haven't seen one on ebay but I still look every once in a while. Mom would have LOVED this one. She collected elephants...

I haven't seen the Mickey/Minnie ones; how cute! Your mom sounds like me, I love elephants. I hope you can find the bottom to the Mickey/Minnie jar!
