As you can see in the photos, this one has a ding in on the edge. When I called the coin company about it they explained that these are real coins that were in circulation decades ago and they all have some kind of wear on them. The ding happened before it was plated and it's not a flaw in the process. In other words, they plated a penny that was already dinged. They said the value is in the gold and not the coin so it doesn't take away from it's worth.
