I crochet these hats using 100% acrylic yarn called Gala festival. I am self taught so I do not follow patterns. This yarn is a soft boucle type with wonderful colours of cocoa, creams and butterscotch. And its so soft!!!.

Its so soft that its really hard to take a good pic of it. ~ so PLEASE NOTE that the first pic is just to show you the style of how it looks when you wear it - it is NOT the actual hat. (the last pic is from a collection of other hats I've made... if you're interested in other colours let me know)

I make these hats with a unique crochet pattern to the 'tam' part of the hat and then a really cozy close bandeau partion to cuddle the ears. Keeps the wind from making your ears ache . Stylish AND functional :)

These hats are all machine washable but I do recommend you lay flat to dry.

I get a flat rate to anywhere in the continental USA but unfortunately not the same for inside Canada. :( Am happy to give you an estimate.

I ship out on paydays, so the next ship day for this item will be Saturday June 2nd. I prefer paypal but if you dont have paypal let me know and we can work something out.

I know its crazy the costs. Shipping inside Canada is by distance... so for you it would be like 4 bucks to Brantford, ship to costs for Calgary is about 12. Nova Scotia was 15! Its all over the map unlike the flat rates I get to the US - 5.97 plus the Paypal fee comes to 6.10

I will always combine shipping... but my flat rate to the US is based on that typical size packaging of the hat. If I can get it all squishy into the smaller envelope I surely will :)
If you're outside of the continental USA, I have to get shipping quotes done as it all goes by distance. In any case I will do my best to give the best shipping options

The Basic shape yes... its just a softer saggy look, and it doesn't photograph well with the shades and shadows of the yarn being all 'bumpy'
