So many people have asked me about my Listia Icon - "The Eye". Yes I did paint that and the original has sold but I have decided to add some of my own art up on Listia. Each day for 30 days I will list a piece of art.

I wanted to add one of my sculptural pieces to see if our Listia members would be into it. This was created by me and is a Mixed Media kind of Primitive Outsider Art Wall Hanging. I found a very unique stick with an interesting twist on the bottom then cut out a heart out of wood painted it and added glitter. Used vintage rusted wire that I had laying around. Used a wonderful rubber stamp for the face and an old strainer for the angel "fairy" wings. Had a wonderful old vintage necklace of copper stars which I decided to added last minute at the end for the finishing touch. I think she turned out sweet.

This piece of art is sooooo much better then the photo gives it credit. This is a true mixed media work of art.

Why? Because everyone should own an original!
