Description

The listing, Beautiful White Hyacinth Bean Seeds*Non-Edible White Flower Spikes! has ended.

Gorgeous vining heart shaped leaves with spikes of white flowers with beans (seed pods). Blooms from mid-summer to first frost here in Zone 5. The beans are not to be eaten.

Very easy to grow, no green thumb required!

Just plant 1/2" deep keep moist until established, water during dry spells.

Last summer they covered our lattice on the outside of our back porch. Everyone that came over commented on their beauty. Of course they all got a few seed pods to take home and plant. Even the leaves are a beautiful heart shape.

They will need a fence, lattice or trellis to climb up.

You will receive a small packet of 12 seeds with growing instructions.

Plus, I have been known to throw in a pack of free bonus seeds for my winners.

Save the seed pods when they have finished blooming and dry them (the pods will turn light brown when dry). Either hang the whole stem to dry or remove the seeds. label and date them and store in a dry place until next spring to plant or trade! Then file them in a box. Keep in a cool dry place.

I hope you can see the white flowers in my photo on the horizon. The green beans are the seed pods. They are not edible.

I had both growing together, and they were beautiful! For some crazy reason I did not save enough Purple seeds. This may be my last auction for these, unless I find some more hanging in the basement. I am running out:)

Last year I just picked whole branches of beans after they faded and hung them up. A time saver!
