Perhaps his career success has been mixed, but James Shields managed an '08 pennant and an '11 all star game while with Tampa Bay, which counts a small amount.

Even if this past season with the White Sox was miserable, this card might be enough to ignore those losses (both for player and team). Here is the 2014 Bowman card of his days on the Royals, but unlike Topps (at least this year), this serial numbered gold border parallel is numbered to only 50 cards, compared to 2014 of topps gold parallels that year. No noticible flaws on the card, and will be sent in a top loader in addition to what's shown in the photo.
