The listing, Vintage Zippo Lighter U S S Tigrone SSR-419 1940s has ended.

This old zippo is probably from the 1940's. The patent number on the bottom is "2517191 pat pending". The outside hinge is nice and tight. It sparks and acts like it wants to light so i'm fairly certain it will work with fluid.

your zippo are made between 1960-1967

late 1955 actually 4 dots on left 4 on right with PAT. PEND. is late 55. 3 on left 4 on right with PAT. PEND. would be 56. and in 57 they removed the PAT. PEND.
any zippo enthusiest out there that would like a more in depth date guide than the standard ones pm me for a link
