I just became a consultant but can't afford to spend $1200 on inventory. This would really help out! :)

Yes I am gathering some things that are great for consultants to help sales like the clear look book bags with stick seals and some have pink designs some have lips and they are perfect for parties to put a book, a contract and any other goodies you hand out and a raffel ticket for a drawing at the end or a monthly drawing, and things like mirrors and the clear bags and styro inserts for mirrors tons of stuff to be had. The last weekend of the month is always so busy for me, I have my Son's 2 daughters, and this weekend we are throwing a birthday party yaaaa party with the little kids Love children s parties specially my grandchildren s. :) I will let you know when I am ready to post it if you like. Word from the wise, you do not have to have a ton of inventory just basic and once you have your clients and you know what they regularly order make sure you have it when they need it and that keeps them coming back. Things change so fast that if you have it and it changes it is hard to get rid of. Trust me I know. Especially limited edition items, one or two and if its that good then they will order it and wait for just a second. If it is really hot then 3 or 4 and if you rid em order soon as you rid em. Orders come fast. My 1st order was $1800 and I let my director fill it since she should know best and the perfume I sat on for a while, but I did sell it in a gift basket at xmas time. Men love gift baskets for xmas eve gifts. I love MK and did real good at it until I moved to the mountains and business is so slow in a town of 189 and gas is way to high to travel for me right now. So many things change so fast, I found that your main customers product on hand is what is important. And you get to know how long it takes them to need it. Then the basics and your party needs is all the stock you need. I do love the business. But, I moved 30 minutes one way from a town, gas is so high and a 2007 tahoe is a hog on gas. I still have my main customers and what I don't have I get from the lady who got me started. If gas ever goes down or I buy an economy car I will get more active again. I sure met a lot of wonderful women, went to seminar, some conventions, I love it all. Thanks for stopping in and fanning you back. You are appreciated. Jacque B.

Great tips!! I thought about collecting as many free samples as I can even if they are discontinued to drum up some interest everyone loves to get free samples! Definitely watching and wish I had enough credits to GIN!

But, you don't want someone to like something that is no longer available. :( However, you are correct when you say everyone loves samples. When I go out I always have a bag of one type of samples and when I hand it out I always get a number and name so I can follow up. If they are going to take time to get a sample they will most likely want to get a facial, and I always ask when I call back if they would like to invite a couple of friends also. It is the funnest business and you can build your own business as fast or slow as you want to and you can make money and drive a pink car if your heart is really in it. I will be listing more soon.
