According to the website 7-35 pounds. It's still technically a 'one size' diaper with the snap down rise. A size 2 is just a bit roomier for bigger babies. I don't really think it would fit a newborn right away.....but it could. My son was a preemie, so Sunbabies fit around 6-8 weeks.

Yes, it's a new 4.0. It has the hip snaps. It's from after she released the sizing and it's a size 2, which is better for bigger/chunkier babies.
