The listing, Lg Obama phone (This will not be reposted) has ended.
This is a Obama phone that gives you 1000 mins every month, I don’t need it anymore and would rather it go to someone who can use it. I am not taking low offers as this auction is real not like all the other phone auction on here.
So this is being listed with a starting bid of 35000 and will put a get it now of 100000.
Happy bidding!!!!
Questions & Comments
HI! Do you have to qualify for the Obama minutes?? And I'm not trying to be disrespectful, just wondering if you realize your start bid is equal to $562.72 and your GIN is over $1600.00??
there is no value in the min's because they cost you $0.00 this is a government phone in your name registered to your address, what your doing by listing this is illegal and can be a fine of up to $5000.00 or 5 to 10 years imprisonment
No it was given to me, so I could care less to be honest. With that statement knowingly purchasing the phone under what your saying is also a penalty as well, I didn’t know any of what you said, so buying this you assume all responsibility for it. If you choose for me to cancel your purchase please let me know.
youthemom, yes you are supposed to qualify to receive the cell phone. Someone qualified to receive the phone originally and never stopped the minutes when they, I guess, did not need it any more. They just passed it on. So technically yes, the winner of the auction could be in trouble, masterseaman, with the federal government for purchasing and using the phone. Additionally the person that listed the auction could also be in trouble with the government because based on what he has said, he received it from someone else and used it which would be defrauding the government He was not the person that qualified for the 1000 minutes even though he might have possibly qualified for it. And now he is selling it to receive compensation. I have dealt with both the person listing and the person who is bidding on the auction and I would hate to think that either of them wants to defraud the government.
I totally agree with you and I didn’t see it that way, and will be just refunding the credits to the buyer because I sure don’t want to get into trouble nor result anyone else to that date.
