The listing, xbox 360 has ended.

I got this from a friend and it works. It just wont read disks. I tried the games and a burned dvd but nothing. I was told it was a easy fix but I already have one. Also I couldn't get the controler to sync up which is a little chewed up as you can tell in the picture, and its missing the battery back. Other then that there is no video cable. Like the add says there is free shipping so good luck.

fyi the "easy fix" would be to either disassemble the xbox and the drive to clean the lens. but if that doesn't work you would need to replace either the laser assembly or replace the disc drive. each disc drive is locked to the specific xbox motherboard with a specific password or "key" that you will need retrieve off your current drive and program into your new drive if you decide replace the disc drive. some drive you can simple connect with a sata cable to your pc after putting it in mode b while using your xbox to power it (Hitachi). but other dives (benQ and lite-on) require a special tool either a homemade one or a ck3 probe.
