The listing, SHAZAM.....Feast Your Eyes...SIX+ POUND Slab of Brazilian Amethyst! has ended.

Here's something a little different....not exactly the run of the mill items. This is a monster slab of Brazilian Amethyst. It weighs close to 7 pounds. I've seen 2 opinions about the "peppering" on the crystals. One guy said it made it more valuable, while the other guy said it didn't make any difference. Maybe you know? I've looked at it long enough...2-3 years....so I'll let someone else enjoy it for a while.

The slab is 9" X 6" X 2 1/2" at the highest point. Really kinda cool, isn't it! Makes a great paperweight, or.....maybe a doorstop. Ha! I know this.....you could make a TON of jewelry out of it! Wait a sec...I know. You could put a chain on it and hang it from a belly button ring! HaHaHaHaHaHa!

Ok, look.....it's going to cost me about $15 to ship this puppy, so I sure hope the bids make it worthwhile!

Questions & Comments

I believe it is a peppering of magnesium throughout the stone. A lot of times magnesium is present when forming. That's my opinion. Makes it interesting, don't know about more valuable as magnesium is common, but this is definitely nice and I will be watching and bidding later on.

Yeah, this isn't something you see every day. Really, really cool! And, if you ever go into a rock shop, you'll see what these things sell for. Be prepared for your jaw to drop to the floor! I'm not kidding, either! These retail for ungodly amounts. I mean...c'mon....it's a ROCK! A very pretty rock....but still a ROCK! Heh Heh!
