The listing, STUNNING LIGHT BLUE SHAPPHIRE GEMSTONE RING LAB CREATED/ SILVER FILLED~ NEW! has ended.
This is a very Beautiful ring! The Light Blue Sapphire is a nice size stone 8mm x 10 mm insize~ The ring is a size 7~ The setting is Silver Filled which has more silver on it than a Silver Plated Ring~ This one didn't get stamped I emailed the Jeweler I bought it from and he said all the rings he sells are 925 Silver Filled but sometimes one gets missed and doesn't get the stamp on it~ Please check out the pictures to see just how pretty this ring is~ Thanks for looking and bidding~ us shipping only~ FREE SHIPPING so please bid!! Thanks Spirit3
Questions & Comments
Yes, I know you did. I was just explaining why it shouldnt have one, anyway. There are very stiff laws about items marked "925". and lately some imports have been making a mess of things here. Anything marked "925" is supposed to be, '.985 Pure Sterling Silver'. No ifs, ands, or buts. Lol! Apparently China disagrees. So, unsuspecting and innocent Americans are getting duped regularly now. There are warnings all over the internet. But you basically have to be looking for them to find them. Not many people would think to do that. Why would they? I only did after getting 40 rings marked 925 that obviously shouldnt have been. It's just really good that you are tellign people the truth, straight up. Not everyone is. Even after they know the truth. I am just glad you mentioned the "Filled" part. It's important that people know that. You've shown you are a good, honest seller by doing that. That's way cool. I wish you the best of luck with these super-pretty rings. Have a great day! =)
Thanks so much! I had bought some rings also about two years ago, and after I tried wearing some for a while, never listed them again I still have about 30! They were not stamped but very cheap and turned color in a short time! I won't list anything like that~ I did not know about the laws, so unless the ring is Sterling Silver it can't be stamped 925 in the us, I have a couple more very pretty ones coming but I will not mention the 925 anymore! Thanks Spirit3
well now I got more to think about.I've dealt with one seller that I get my stuff from. USED TO GET MY STUFF FROM hedidn't mark anything.. I was told they were silver, but it stuck ta magnet. I swear by tha test more then anything else. Ihad a buyer get aggrivated with me because her jeweler said it wasnot silver. When I buy I expect the truth, as do you guys but if your not told the truth what cn you do? It's like don't get mad at the waitress. she didn't cook it. a little understanding goes a long way on both sdes. I appreciate beig on the up and up, and know what Ineed to be looking at! thanks for the info
You're a very good person. When I do mine. I never say 'sterling silver' and I always say 'silver plated'. I do mention the stamp, tho because I dont want someone to receive the ring, and think I just missed the stamp. They may then go ahead and re-list it incorrectly. Then I would feel really bad that I hadnt given them any kind of clue as to the actual problem. Luckily, I only have a few left to get rid of. I cant wait til they are done. I prefer not to have something like that in my stuff, anymore. I am glad that maybe some others can see what's written here, and maybe be more aware of whats going on. Anything that prevents the misrepresentation that is possibly with things like this is a very good thing. Hve a great night! =)
It would be illegal to mark a silver 'filled' item with a 925 stamp in the US. Only 925 sterling silver is supposed to carry that mark in the US. So, even if it was marked, it would be wrong. Just like all of these other silver plated ones with that mark that have been brought into the US...
I did say this one did not have a 925 stamp on it! All i know is The ones I have been buying usually say 925 on them, and say there are Silver Filled~ I did not know about any law conterning this! Thanks Spirit3
I don't know if I can get any better pictures of the ring than I have already given you I will try to take some more! It is what I said a Lab Created Sapphire and very pretty! thanks Spirit3
