I have a few varieties of Black Eyed Susans and I have never had any 10 feet tall. Would love it if these got that tall because they are my very favorite. Just went out and measured some of mine. A volunteer in a pot is almost 30" tall and a volunteer in my veggie garden is 40" tall and 25" wide.
