Description

The listing, Moon Flower seeds (12) has ended.

NO NIGHT GARDEN SHOULD BE WITHOUT THESE.
Large 8' long white snowy blooms with a touch of lavender at the center. You can watch them open in the evening and the smell is wonderfully intoxicating. Dried as potpourri OMG.
Grows in just about any soil, sandy or rocky. I took one live plant from the crevice in a desert side walk three years ago and it lives in my yard still. It needs minimal water or can take some over watering. Grows to 4 feet tall and up to 15 feet wide, or it can trellis nicely. Full sun or partial shade in the day time, these plants will thrive. They dry out in the winter but will bring a smile to your face when they return in the spring. When clearing leave a couple feet of stem to fuel regrowth. Medium to large spiny seed pods.
I understand you nick each seed slightly with your nail or a nail file before starting them. Get these now and enjoy them in the spring. These are fresh seeds but all seeds are a roll of the dice.

ALL PARTS OF THIS PLANT ARE HIGHLY TOXIC! Member of the nightshade family. Most animals will not eat it but some cats seem to crave its intoxicating qualities and can become ill. Keep them hydrated and safe until effects wear off, 1-3 days. Keep away from children who still like to taste things. Also known as Jimsonweed, or Devils Trumpet. Research this plants use for your garden. Used only by the most skilled Wicca or Shaman in divination and magick. Never experiment with unknown plants. I'll not be responsible for any neglect or missuse of seeds or their plants. Sorry, I had to cover that.

Winner will send me (One) self addressed (US) stamped envelope and it will return with your 12 seeds. I had to put 50 cents in the shipping box to seal this. Sorry, as a student attending class on a grant, I can't cover free shipping. For each extra UNUSED modern US stamp you send me I'll add another 12 seeds. NO PAYPAL sorry.

It's a bid late but they can have a good start next spring.
Thank you for bidding.

That's a good question. Jimson Weed aka/ moonflowers grow across the US, parts of Europe and all over India. This page should help answer any other questions. http://myfolia.com/plants/1572-jimson-weed-datura-stramonium.

As a practicing pagan priestess I can tell you they are very bitter, with a sour grass like quality. I would never recommend ingesting them at all, as they are a strong hallucinogenic. Only the most skilled would, as I state above. Moonflowers are not controlled by the FDA because most folks are smart enough not to try it twice. I understand moonflowers, Datura, are one of the worst “Trips” to take. ANYONE providing these flowers/plants/seeds has a responsibility to others to inform them of the risks. I siimply asked that of you and your responce is to harass me. Childish

I'm sorry viewers, panchomanchu is harrassing me because I sugested she advise bidders as to the toxic quality of moonflower seeds she has for auction. I could hide her comments here and in my other auctions, but I'll let them stand for your judgement. I have reported this to listia, blocked her, and flagged all her harrassing statements. She has a great offer for those interested and I suggest you take her up on the free seeds she has offered in her gusto to harrass me, now that you know what you need to know about these flowers. Again, I'm sorry.
