The listing, Storybook written in Chinese (?) has ended.

I think this adorable storybook is written in Chinese (it appears to be Chinese especially with the dragon motif), but I may be wrong about the language. It is written in a traditional back to front and up and down structure. If anyone can confirm the actual language this is written in, feel free to post it so others know :)

Questions & Comments

The actual story is written in Chinese, but each character has something else written smaller on the side, something I've only ever seen in Japanese furigana. Unfortunately, the side characters are too blurry for me to make out. If that is the case, this might be meant for Japanese students of Chinese language and showing the pronunciation...

Thanks for the info. That is cool that it might be an instructional book! I am going to post a pic using the macros on my camara so you can see the symbols better. Thanks for helping. This might be more of a conversation piece unless someone who knows the language bids!

Thanks. It's still too blurry for me to read, but it looks like it might be an actual Japanese translation on the side...not just furigana, but looks like some kanji is there in the small text too.
