Not entirely sure. They were just recommended with my DVD player. it would probably help to have the same brand but I would have to look into that to have more info on that specific question. Thanks

After looking online I think they are only made for in car DVD players. People wrote they worked for different models. So please keep that in mind when bidding. You can look them up under XO Vision headphones.

i read that they seem to work for most people regardless of their dvd player.. but its for in vehicles.. as the signal is meant for that. soo, unless i chase a car around.. trying to see thru the windows to their dvd. ..lol.
good luck with this as a lot of people have dvd players in their cars/vans for their kids now.

Not sure about certain playrs but seems it is for DVD players in cars which have the IR transmitter.
