"SHOGUN"...... Truly one of the BEST made for TV mini series ever made. It was first released in 1980 - 547 minutes (9 hours), in a 5 disc format.In my opinion, there were only a hand full of mini series that was truly outstanding....and this is certainly one of them. If you've seen this, you know you want to see it again. If you haven't seen it....boy, are you in for a treat!
I bought this at Best Buy, and it was $99.95. I REALLY wanted to be able to watch it straight through, with no commercials. It's been viewed either 5 or 6 times since then, and is still in excellent condition!
SIDE NOTE: You'll' get to learn about all Japanese "pillowing"! Heh Heh Heh!
