6. 30-Man Royal Rumble match
The main event of the evening was the annual Royal Rumble match, where the winner would get a World Championship match of their choice at Wrestlemania XXVIII. The Miz was the first entry a result of losing a match on Raw to R-Truth & he would last nearly 46 minutes until being eliminated by entry No. 30 Big Show. Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes was the 4th entry, lasting nearly 42 minutes & scored the most eliminations with 6 total. WWE legends Mick Foley, Hall of Famer & first ever Rumble winner "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan & Road Dogg were all special guest entries in the match. All 3 announcers that called the event Jerry "The King" Lawler, Booker T & Michael Cole also entered the match at various points as official entries. Kharma was another surprise entry, making her the third female competitor to enter a Royal Rumble match. The final 4 consisted of Sheamus, 2009 Rumble winner Randy Orton, Chris Jericho & Big Show. Zack Ryder is brought into the arena in a wheelchair, there's a nice exchange between Laurenitis, Ryder and Eve before Eve takes Ryder into his private dressing room.
