Description

The listing, 4 GB Memory SO DIMM (Laptop) has ended.

4GB DDR 3 Memory for laptop or notebook
2X2GB SO DIMM 1334 MHZ
Samsung (Made in China)

Bought a Hewlett Packard Inspiron with 4GB of Memoru, at an excellent price. Immediately doubled the memory. The 4 GB offered here were pulled practically unused, . They have been stored in the replacement memory cases, the wrapping is not original, maybe someone could find good use for them.

kewl; actually the memoru/memory is probably a 1333 MHZ; hewlee-packie doesnt favor horse trading its components, they would prefer to sell off their inventory, which is understandable, unfortunately tecchie corporates have very little if any trade-in programs in place; which may or may not defy comprehension....

highly unlikely additional memory would help, the main processor chip is not quick enough at crunching numbers,even if it was the bus can't handle the data flow, the bios and drivers are too antuquated

@charliet1963

This won't work with your dell 5150 because your laptop supports DDR ram while this is DDR3 RAM. DDR3 also has 204 pins.

the type of memory depends on the motherboard, DDR2 is usually older machines regardless of the number of cores, and DDR3 is for newer machines, regardless of the number of cores. The speed difference between DDR3 and DDR2 isn't enough to really matter though. It's all about compatibility.
