We also fly the American flag every day. Husband is Air Force retired, I am retired civil service with the Air Force and our son is Marine (having been in Iraq twice). We are definitely a red, white and blue family. F,W & B.

My husband and I both served. (I am a former Navy medic and husband is a SSG in the U.S. Army.) Two tours in Iraq for him and once for me in Desert Storm. He is still serving and will re-deploy later this year. We appreciate all of the support that people show. Just a side note here, if any of you have an old flag that is need of disposal/retirement.. Please give that flag to your local Boy Scout troop and they will give it a proper retirement ceremony and dispose of it the way it is to be properly disposed of. They will be more than happy to help out! Thank you all for your continued support of us and the rest of the troops. Please do not forget their families because we are not the only ones who serve and have made the ultimate sacrafice. Military families have to endure the sacrifices each day that their significant others, spouses, fathers, mothers and any family member have given their lives by signing on the line to do their duty and their honor. Those family members are often the silent heroes, because without them and their support, we could not get through the worst times!

I just want to add my "Thank you" to all the above service people and families. There are no words to give you that would mean as much as what our service people do for us. Reading the comments above brought tears to my eyes. Shame on the minority that protest against you. They are protesting against out country. God Bless You!!!!!
