My kitchen solutions include

*basic powdered dishwasher detergent
*all purpose cleaner #1: is great for cleaning out the fridge, countertops, stovetops, cutting boards, and tackles any hard, caked on, sticky, saucy food messes easily. I even use it with a hand towel wrapped over a scrub brush to work out carpet stains in the dining room.

*window&&floor cleaners.

My bathroom solutions include:
*all purpose cleaner #2 good for hard water stains on tile, porcelain, glass, mirrors, chrome faucets&&knobs, and countertops... quick wipedowns with this really freshen a stale, dank bathroom.
*antiseptic spray strong enough to clean toilets&&safe enough to spray on minor cuts&&scrapes (though I will admit I use it most often on muddy paws :P)
*heavy duty tub/tile/toilet scrub for very deep cleaning as well as another interesting technique
*a quick, simple how-to on killing nasty bathroom mold that just doesn't scrub away from the moisture build up in such areas.
