I haven't ever owned a Coolpix camera but I have been told my betta breeders that this is a great camera for close up pics of fish. It it takes great closeup pics then the distance pics wouldlook great too. It is suppose to take clear pics and betta fish move around so I would say this is a great camera if it can capture moving betta fish.

May I ask why the shipping is $10? I know you said you were throwing sumthing extra in with the camera but flate rate boxes are $5 and there is plenty of room for 3 cameras in those boxes....Not trying to be pain in butt or nit pick I was just wondering! Thanks!! Nice camera!!

Takes two dbl AA batteries, not included....all the cables and cords ..manual..cd..comes with it....It takes a SD Card, not included....its 6.0 megapixels ,and no worries about all the questions....thanks for looking
