The listing, Hello Kitty Cloth Sign NEW has ended.

This hanging sign was ordered from Sanrio Japan. It is one-sided, meaning there is no picture on the back. It features Kitty as a chef holding a bowl of Soba noodles. The characters on the sign say "Bon Appetit!"

This sign is new with it's tags still. The banner portion is 8.5x12 inches. The hanging pole is just a little wider, maybe 9 inches. The hanging sting gives it an other 3 to 4 inches in height. I really love this, but there were no dimensions in the item listing when I purchased it. I expected it to be a LOT bigger. If you want to get an idea of its size it is just a little bit longer than a piece of regular printer paper.

I like! Thanks for the translation of the kanji at the top. I can read the black, bold characters above HK and it's 'SO BA' for the kind of noodles as you mentioned in the description. The characters on the lower left stand for 'HA RU U KE TE I' or Hello Kitty! I like many locals study Japanese here on the island because of the many Japanese tourists that come year round. And many of us love Hello Kitty, too! Will be watching!

I have one that I am keeping because i can display it in my office form my store. The kanji on it are wished for prosperity and say "open". I use it when I want to be left alone in the office to work on orders and respond to customers, so that my kids leave me alone. I found a Kitty window flag that says"closed" also, but I haven't bought that one yet.
