on this after the seven days you need to pay for one months time for your accout to get the rewards.

actually i just redeemed one and while you need to buy game time after the 7 day period but you get all the perks immediately as well as increased experience for faster leveling. All you would have to do is accept the request on the accounts page and start playing. Cataclysm alone is $40 and you get that free.

you get all the perks as soon as you redeem scroll. If you do not buy game time you will still keep the perks...There is a video that will explain it more clearly here is the link.
