This is a steel-wool Filet crocheted pin cushion. It has steel-wool inside to sharpen your pins when you stick them in the cushion. The cushion is burlap and cotton with a Filet crocheted decoration. warning this cushion can not get wet or the steel will rust and ruin your pincushion

I am so glad you like it. I enjoyed making it and was hoping others would like the idea, especially the steelwool. I have heard from others wiser than me that it was a great way to keep pins sharpened. You could also use it for dress pins. I use to make dress pin cushions with a tatted top. Maybe that will be my next project.

Thank you, I am glad you like it. The idea came to me when I was searching my craft room for materials to make an Antique Filet crochet pattern I saw, and then wala this was born.
