These would be beautiful on my little girl , but I'd have to have her ears pierced first. She will be 2 yrs old next Thursday. I think I'll get her ears pierced & give these to her her if I can win them.

the posts are a silvertone metal, the backs are a goldtone metal (I doubt if either are real silver or real gold, but I really don't know) - sorry I can't be more precise!

I would assume they would be safe, but my four kids are 35 down to 16, so it's been a WHILE since I've dealt with toddlers - I think you keep in the earrings they put in when you get them pierced for the first 6 weeks or so, then you can change them out - you can try these after that period, and I guess you just watch in case there's some kind of reaction - sorry I'm not more helpful, but out of my area of expertise!
