The listing, Skylanders game with portal has ended.

This auction is for one lightly used copy of 'Skylands Spyro's Adventure' and one 'Portal of Power'.

NO 'Skylanders' (figures) are included. You will need at least one figure to play the game. They are for sale used at most GameStop stores or new at almost any major toy store.

does the portal work for every system if you have the game

I only know for sure that it works with Xbox 360 and PC. PS3 uses the standard USB cables as well so it might work. I have heard the Wii and 3DS versions are wireless so I don't think it will work with those systems.

the game on the PC is *very* different from the XBox game you can play with this. the PC version is used with the codes you get with each figure, etc., and you can play a browser-based flash game using the figures and placements you have. in no way is it the same game - the XBox game is a full on game with many levels, upgrades, etc., while the PC application is just a fun thing added to the figures. the XBox game is for all ages, whereas the PC game is almost strictly for kids.
