what do you mean it is slow? is the actual card reader slow or is it your computer that is slow at processing the uploads? or are you not for sure altogether. i mean either way it goes i still want this item but i was just seeing if you knew exactly what it was.

It is USB 1.1, so it runs at a max of 12Mbits/s instead of the 400Mbits/s you get with USB 2.0.
