The listing, Mattel Hot Wheels IROC FIREBIRD and '40 FORD 1998 First Editions has ended.
This is for 2 (TWO) Hot Wheels. Pictured.
Collector's Numbers 653 and 654. The card backs have a copy write of 1997
PLEASE READ: I will ship these out with FIRST CLASS mail in the USA for free. I will ship these in a bubble envelope. They should remain in good condition but I have no guarantee on condition once shipped. IF you would like them (the card backs) in excellent condition then I recommend you pay for Priority shipping. $5 and I will ship in a small flat rate box.
Questions & Comments
I have over 1400 Hot Wheels I hope to list on here in the near future just like this BUT I'm not going to bother if people don't bid.... I'm paying for shipping and losing an item. Yes, I am giving these away for "free" but expect some Listia points as compensation. Not enough bids and I will not be listing anymore. Thanks!
I may try that in the near future just for fun... If it went over a bunch of credits then it would be worth it.. if not then I'll lose money on shipping for very few points. It's nothing personal to people outside USA or Canada but it's just the price of shipping is too high usually
This auction is screaming "BID ON ME!" You know your nephews or kids or cousins or friends kids want these!!! I'm actually going to go ahead now and list a couple more with INTERNATIONAL shipping! woohoo.
So, I have maybe nearly 2000 Hot Wheels. None of them are especially special that I've noticed. None of the intentionally rare ones, whatever those are called. You know of any other ones I should be looking for when it comes to rarity? or a place to look of the different kinds, rareness, values... etc. Thanks
Another question... would you consider some reinforcement within the bubble mailer? I found that a manilla envelope works great. Folded and cut a certain way, it works as the perfect cover for them and still are light enough to not make a difference in shipping. Also some "fragile" warnings on the envelope.
Actually, yeah, that's a great idea. I was more worried about crushing on the bubble but I can protect the cards backs as you described. I sell a ton of action figures on ebay so I have something in mind that will work. With the 2 cars packaging facing each other, crushing shouldn't be as much of an issue either. I just don't want to be putting these in little boxes because I just simply don't have enough. I do have tons of thick manilla envelopes I can use for extra protection, though.
Thanks for finally bidding! Only a few hours left. Good luck! Don't forget to check my other auctions! I am listing about 15 blurays, some PS3 games and a WHOLE bunch other stuff like action figures and complete misc. This beats ebay fees and that other thing that this website allows people to skirt. You know, that thing we kicked the British out of our country over.
