I received a LiveScribe Pulse Pen about a year or so ago as a gift, with replacement tips, and 3 notebooks, but barely ever used it. I think I've used it a grand total of maybe 4 hours. I still have the box it came in, with the charger/dock to sync with your computer. I turned it on long enough to wipe what little data I had on it about 3 months ago. It's a good device, I just don't use it, ever. Last I used it, everything seemed to be working just fine.

Remember, Google's your friend. :)
But basically, it's a pen for students and note takers in general. When you write, it can record everything you write as well as audio. Later on you can transfer everything to your computer. You can also review notes and audio at the same time, by starting a replay and pressing the pen on a section of your notes. however, notes have to be take in the special notebooks that come with the pen in order to actually work (that's the one major drawback).

To my knowledge, no. The notebooks use pin-dot paper, that the pen relies on for knowing when to record what's being written.

I'd assume so, but it'd be on lined paper because (as stated in a previous reply) you have to use special paper that comes with the pen.

Yes everything listed is included: USB charger/dock, 3 notebooks, pen, sleeve, replacement tips, original box.
I can't recall if it came with a software disk or manual, or directed to the site for the software/manual. If I can find them, I'll include them.
