Records up to 16 hrs. Takes 2 AAA batteries. The back is missing . I'm still looking for it but can't make any guarantee's. It does work even without the back !!

This may be an odd question, but how big is it?? Can you compare it to something as far as length and width? Thanks!

It's not an odd question. :) It's about 1 1/4 " wide & 4" long. It will fit in your hand , your pocket , purse etc. it's pretty small.
