The listing, 1967 Topps #39 Curt Simmons has ended.
Today, we are posting a card from the famous 1967 Topps Baseball Card set. There is a crease on this card as you can see in the photo. I just recently replaced this card in my 67 set so I thought I would offer it here. Quick story about this set if interested below.
In January 1967, a young man became the proud father of a healthy baby boy, me. As a large baseball fan, Cubs in particular, the new father decided he was going to build a 1967 baseball card set for his son to give him on his 21st birthday. He was about halfway through building this set when he was unfortunately killed by a drunk driver in 1970. My grandmother held on to the set until my 21st birthday and presented it to me then. It took me another 12 years but I completed the set. Now I work on improving the set to make it as mint as possible. Although I will never part with the cards my father saved, I will be presenting cards from this set as I improve on the ones I obtained. Ok, maybe a little longer story than expected. Just want people to understand where these cards come from and what this set means to me.
