Fragaria Chiloensis Strawberry 10 SeedsOriginal plant range: South America (Only Chile and Argentina). It´s a herbaceous perennial growing 15 - 20 cm (4 - 6 inch) Flower color: white with yellow. Fruits color: red or pink (close to white). Depending on the conditions, is it in flower from November to January and the fruits ripen from January to early March (southern hemisphere).
The fruits are small (1,5 - 2 cm diameter) but very sweet and perfumed. Seed sow early spring in a greenhouse. The seed can take 4 weeks or more to germinate. Prefers a fertile, well-drained, moisture retentive soil in a sunny position.
