I won this ipod on Listia a few weeks ago. It worked perfectly plugged in, but needed a new battery. I replaced the battery which required replacing the earphone jack as well since it has to be removed to reach the battery. Every function works, touch screen is immediately responsive, in good condition. Back has scratches typical of every ipod with a metal back. I purchased a new hard case for it, will include the case, earphones, lanyard, belt clip. It goes on line for browsing and email. Problem is the low volume. Have googled this and everyone says it's a software issue. Lots of fix suggestions, but think the best is downgrading the browser to original. This is way beyond my capability, solved my problem by buying a new android phone. If you have experience with this issue or are willing to work with it, nice little ipod. Will ship for free.
