Welcome ... Des Moines (area) is getting on the Listia map! I have a suggestion ... try to tell people how much the shipping will be. If it's under 2 pounds the shipping is $5 (actually, just under but I can't keep track of exactly how much with all of the changes). If you plan to "sell" a lot on Listia, try going to USPS.com and ordering some of the flat-rate boxes. They come in 3 sizes and the mailman delivers them to you absolutely free! Good luck!

I am a former ebay seller, so I used to be very knowledgeable about shipping, but haven't done ebay for three years. Shipping has gotten more expensive, but the USPS "flat-rate box" system is very handy. You can buy your postage on-line and leave the box for your mailman to pick up, then you can track the package online as well. Plus, it costs a little less to buy the postage online than at the post office. The problem is that the flat-rate boxes are not very big, but I would think you could put your child's clothing outfit in a medium box. Which reminds me ... I need to go online and order some boxes!
