It has normal wear such as some scratches and the leather is not as dark any more. The photo in the picture is shows the leather dark but it's actually lighter & the black color is a little faded. You will need a moisturizer to make it look good as new. . it has a lot of life left. It has 3 compartments and a lot of pockets! It could fit a laptop but not sure the zipper would close if you put the laptop but it depends on the size of your laptop.
