i'm not sure how old this lantern looking music box is but i know my husband had it for 20yrs before we met(2002) it looks like a lantern but it isn't i guess it could be if you put a candle in it and left the lid off! it's made of glass and, i think, brass. i have no idea what the song is that it plays, i do know that its a nice collectable piece! i am asking for $5.00 to help with the shipping.

no markings. no silver. it is almost 11"s tall with its lid on. there are approx 5" of glass between each BRASS bar. thanks for looking!

Looks almost like the one from the tv series Dark Shadows that played Quentin's Theme. If you Youtube Quentin's Theme, you can hear it and see if it is a match.

ok....i have been listening to quentins theme, two versions of it. i have come to the conclusion that it is not that song...kinda similar but i don't think so. i wish it was....that is a beautiful song...but if it was i probably wouldnt have put it on listia! thanks for the trip down memory lane though!!

yeah, there are a few things you can do with it besides listen to the music! i think a cool candle in it would be nice, and useful.....just have to take the lid off!
