When I grow succulents from leaves I usually let the cut end dry a bit, then lay it in a shallow dish or lid so only the cut end is touching some water. Put it out of direct sunlight until the baby plant has grown from cut end and develops roots. I either detach the new plant at this point if it's loose enough or keep the parent leaf, then shallow plant in cactus soil. This method only really tends to work if the cut end was attached to a stemmed succulent. Stemless succulents can be trickier to grow from leaf. You can also skip the water dish and just lay it on top of moist sand or soil, keep soil moist and out of sun. Just thought I'd throw in advice that's worked for me in case the winner needs it. Lovely succulent!
